On Friday, I met some friends for dinner and then we saw Cafe Society, the new Woody Allen movie. The movie was pretty meh–but I highly recommend seeing Woody Allen movies in a small, independent movie theater on the Upper West Side. The audience was Woody’s target demo. And my friends and I were the youngest people there by about 30 years.
The rest of the weekend was spent inside with my air conditioning cranked. I watched Move Over Darling on Saturday night and enjoyed it immensely. Doris is the best.
I also figured out how to stream the Simpsons on my television. Thus, I accomplished all of my weekend goals. And now, we face a new week. And the DNC. I’m just going to channel my inner-Doris and just make the above face all week.
Good call. 😮
