The Universe and I had a moment this weekend. While riding the subway back from Ikea (that is a post for another time), I thought to myself that I was in the mood to watch Friends with Kids again. You know I’m a sucker for movies that take place in New York–especially ones where everything and everyone is beautiful.
When I finally got home, I found a screener copy IN MY MAILBOX. That’s right. It arrived practically at my doorstep. So I promptly collapsed on my loveseat and settled in for the movie. And half-way through was reminded that Edward Burns is a Grade A hottie.
He stood out in a movie with Jon Hamm, Adam Scott, and that schlubby, yet appealing, Irish actor. So, yes, the universe and I had a major moment this weekend.
Hello? I Forgot My Mantra. 
The universe is not indifferent. Also, I guess I will have to watch this movie!!
