This one might be a bit controversial–but today I choose Matt Adams as the treat. As I’m sure you know, Big City (or Fatty Matty as my brother calls him) hit a 3-run homer to win the game last night–sending the Cardinals to National League Championship Series. Woo.
And as I said regarding haters and Taylor Swift, I think hating on the Cardinals is really basic. And I’m over it.
As my favorite TV Critic, Margaret Lyons, tweeted, “Some of us have liked Chris Pratt since Everwood.” Yes, I’m on that team. Did you see SNL, this weekend? I thought it was a colossal waste of Chris Pratt and an overall bore. Harsh words–but it was seriously unfunny. On a more positive note, this Buzzfeed article makes me giggle. Anywho, Happy Wednesday!
Yesterday, was super busy (so sorry for not posting). But, today, I’ve managed to accomplish some menial tasks–the grocery store, washing my hair etc. And now, a treat.
This was the best moment from The Birdcage (which we watched while I was home last week). And props to the internet for having this scene isolated so perfectly.
This hottie has a new show on ABC.
Oh man, the best thing to come out of Monday night’s Emmy Awards was the discovery of Cary Fukunaga (he won Best Directing of a Miniseries for True Detective). You can read more about him here.
I have to tell you, I giggled a lot watching this clip (and others trying to decide which to post). Although, if you’re at work, I recommend watching this with your headphones on. Never have F-bombs made me laugh so hard–until 21 Jump Street.
You can see more pics of the adorable prince here.
The new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld’s web show where he takes comedians around town and they get coffee and gab, just started. The first episode features Sarah Jessica Parker and a station wagon. SJP seems very normal and down-to-earth, which is nice because so few people are. The show is very banter-y. But I like the way they film it–and it is a nice little window into another world.
Anyway, I can’t embed the video, but you can watch it here.
And if you like that, I also recommend the Alec Baldwin episode. They drove past my apartment!
