While I was home, we happened to watch several Cary Grant movies–Houseboat and Father Goose and Holiday was in the DVR but we didn’t have time. They don’t make movies like those anymore–and there are certainly no movie stars to star in them. Today’s stars always leave me underwhelmed. Or maybe just whelmed.

Can you believe Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is 50 years old this year? This classic holiday special aired last night–and I have to say, I really enjoyed watching it at full volume at work. The PAs think I’m such a weirdo for knowing all of the words–but we all know they are the weirdos for NOT knowing! Enjoy a clip below:

I sure do love that cranky Santa and the Elf Master–I plan to go around saying WHY WEREN’T YOU AT ELF PRACTICE?!?! for the remainder of this holiday season.

This only seems appropriate as he was just named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. There was a big to do at work last night about doing a quick little piece on this breaking news–but those of us in the know had to keep it a big fat secret until the embargo broke at 11p. Let’s just say–a lot of hassle for the news about the Sexiest Man Alive. I’ll leave it at that.
