It is so hot that this the photo my camera took of the full moon last night. The city is mellllting. Or the camera lens was foggy. Either way it is HOTT. But, it is Friday. And once again, I have few to no plans this weekend–but I’m down with that.
I’ve got some doozies from around the interwebs this week!
–I’m such a sucker for these.
—This made me laugh a lot–and I would totally see that movie.
–This is for you, mother dearest.
–Which one is your favorite? I think I like John Smith the best. Or maybe Prince Philip.
Let’s put it this–my boss has already called me, at home, THREE TIMES today. So, I’m very ready for my weekend. I have no plans and my friends are mostly all out of town. I’m thinking a staycation is in order. I might putter around the Village. Take myself to the movies. Get an ice cream cone.
And, while I am surprised July passed so quickly, I’m happy it is August. I’ve got two weddings to attend this month and then I’m off for a week in September (and my birthday happens) and then it will be FALL.
Man, it has been a long week. Friday really could not get here soon enough. Anyway, since I didn’t post a Thursday Tidbit, I thought I’d post this great sad song–sometimes a little mandolin and banjo really strike the right chord.
And, yes, I know what I did there.
