Well, I’m back from my week reprieve from real life. I had a lovely time in St. Louis and Michigan. I saw family and friends. I ran a half marathon. I napped. I read books. I spoke to high schoolers who did not appreciate my humor. I took a short road trip. I have lovely friends. My family went out of their comfort zone to cheer for me during my race (and they made signs). And, as is customary for me, I do not have a photo of the bride and groom, but I do have a lovely one of just the bride. Also, I have to go to the dentist today. Such is life.
