I called in sick on Friday because I woke up with one of those annoying summer colds. I spent the rest of the weekend alternating between my bed and my couch. I watched a lot of Buffy, The Simpsons, and various Doris Day movies. Aside from my very sore throat and occasional cough, it was not an unpleasant weekend. Outside, the weather alternated between pouring rain and just 1000% humidity. 

Anyway, I’m looking forward to spending next weekend watching the Olympics (they start on Friday!) and changing the calendar pages to August. And hopefully, this week won’t be too terribly unpleasant!
