As promised, I went to see the new Ghostbusters this weekend. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. And walking home, I got very annoyed. Remember when Guardians of the Galaxy came out last summer and everyone was like, ‘OOOH this movie is hilarious?’ Because somehow everyone was surprised that Chris Pratt could be funny? And yet, four women, who have proven to be funny, are not expected to make a funny  movie? And this movie didn’t even rely on potty humor and the f-bomb as female-driven comedies are apt to do. Anyway, I don’t want to get rant-y on a Sunday night, but with everything that’s going on in the world politically and diplomatically, you’d think that a summer blockbuster movie starring four women would be the least of everyone’s worries.
