Well, I made it to College Park and back in one piece. Susie and I had the loveliest time. On Friday, Susie and I walked over to the University of Maryland campus (which I’d never done) and she showed me her office. After our exercise, we gorged on some guacamole and margaritas (which we instagrammed to perfection). Susie may or may not have said the night was going “to get lit” if we had a second marg. Luckily, we only had enough limes for half a margarita more.
On Saturday, we ventured to Frederick, Maryland for some antiquing and shopping. I loved the historic vibe and we found some fun things at the emporium.
We went to Brewer’s Alley for lunch–and treated ourselves to a flight of beers and some fried pickles. We were truly living our best lives. And we learned some valuable things about what to look for when ordering a beer. In my case, a stout beer that is aged in whiskey is probably going to be a bit much for me.
We then hit the road and bought craft supplies at a suburban Michaels and then I met the infamous Bella at Susie’s bf’s parents’ house. A busy day full of driving. And on Sunday, we party planned and had bagels and coffee. It was just the loveliest weekend and I’m so glad I was able to escape the rigors of NYC for a little R & R with Susie. Oh, and we watched She’s the Man because obviously.
I am so jealous of that Couroc tray! And, yes, the BEST weekend!
You two are unstoppable. xxo
