Well, I’m back. I had the loveliest time in St. Louis for a few short days. I relaxed and basked in the quiet of Kirkwood. My mother and I ventured downtown for an estate sale, had lunch at my favorite Cafe Osage, and saw the new Ikea. We slowly perused the aisles at Target. We went to the grocery several times. My brother and I went to the Zoo and saw the new polar bear–you can get quite up close and personal with him and he is HUGE. I would not want to meet a bear in the wild. And on the last night, we watched Dancing with the Stars.

And now, New York is dark and rainy and I can’t just stay in bed–although I am going to the Hemingway exhibit at the Morgan, so it isn’t all bad.
