IT IS HARD TO BE A DOWNER WHEN THE SKY IS BLUE AND FALL-LIKE.

Well, Fall is out in full force in New York. The air is crisp. The heater in my apartment building has turned on and my apartment is now a sweat lodge. On the list of things New Yorkers just accept, along with mice, uncaring landlords, kitchens in what should be the foyer etc, etc, is not being able to control the temperature of one’s apartment in the winter. I usually spend the season with an open window to combat the heat.

ANYWHO, I took a walk in the park on Saturday to bask in the foliage. And I went to my bff’s going away party where everyone was too lame to enjoy the roof top and insisted on standing inside the tiny (kind of gross) bar. I had too much fun and was rendered a useless human being on Sunday. But, my apartment is tidy and I’ve been reading this and enjoying it. I’m off to St. Louis on Thursday which means THREE-DAY WORK WEEK and a few days of full relaxation.
