While I was getting my first dark purple manicure this morning, I thought about this Fitzgerald quote:

I also knew that I’d have no trouble googling it and finding some pretty-ish rendering of the quote because like most things this has been ruined by people. And, while I’m currently adding ‘put away sandals’ to my to-do list and arduously considering whether I want these boots or these boots, I also still find myself thinking this:

Because nothing ever changes–just one’s accessories.
