AUGUST.

Well, we’ve reached August. I’ve got some fun things planned this month–and, of course, I’m happy because it means my favorite season, Fall, is right around the corner. I watched the Woody Allen movie Hannah and Her Sisters last night and really enjoyed it. Not only did it give me serious apartment envy, but it made New York (and especially the UWS) look so good. I really enjoy the grey fall and winter months in the city because somehow everything seems oddly sterilized–unlike in the summer when you practically see the grossness oozing. Can you tell I’m writing this as the pavement outside melts?

Anyway, I also got around to hanging some things in my newly painted bathroom. I ordered two prints of instagram photos in the bamboo frames from Framebridge. I’m happy with the way they turned out–and I’m so happy that I’ll always be transported back to lovely Gasparilla Island in my bathroom. I also hung a Rifle Paper Company print and that little mirror that I haven’t a place for since moving. I think it all ties together nicely!

  1. It looks GREAT! It’s amazing what a little paint will do to brighten things up! Love the framed pics and pineapple and the embroidered mirror which my cousin Jane made back in 1980!
