Well, Susie came and we had lots of fun. I got to show of my smarty-pants sister to the folks at Nightline.

And then we had a day of pampering. We had bagels at Lenny’s and did some shopping. Then we got our nails done. And went to DryBar on the east side.

We had margaritas and guac to pump us up for my birthday party.

And we took a series of blurry pictures at my party.

Speaking of my party! My lovely friends came and showered me with presents and fun. We danced until the wee hours of the morning and rang in my old age with gusto. The next morning, my old age made itself known.

And Susie and I got froyo before she had to catch the bus back to Maryland. Boo hoo.
