Well, I’m back from ole St. Louis. I had just the best time. You can check out my instagram feed for all the pictures of donuts and beers. And you can read my mother’s posts about what we did here and here.

But, mostly, it was just a treat to hang out with my dear mother dearest. We did all the things I wanted (mostly that included hanging out at home) and we talked and talked. And we took walks and a roadtrip and were the only people at happy hour. We watched Buffy and Rio Bravo. And I watched the Bob Dylan documentary and needlepointed while she went to work.

For my birthday, my brother and his wife came over for some BBQ. I got lovely presents. I felt very loved.
