ORIGAMI IN BROOKLYN.

On Saturday morning, I got up super early, trudged to the subway and headed to Brooklyn. My favorite little Park Slope store happened to be having an event with my favorite letterpress card company. And despite an afternoon shoot (that lasted well into the night), I didn’t want to miss this! So, my lovely friend Jenny and I met for coffee and then headed to Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store for some origami.

Upon arriving, promptly at the start time, we realized we weren’t quite the demographic–it was mostly moms with kids and some random older ladies. Nonetheless, we dove right in and learned to make cute origami hearts on lovely Snow & Graham paper. And then, after mastering the art, we made some purchases and headed out into the weekend!
