For the first time in many years, I am not ready to switch my wardrobe back and get out the black tights. I feel like I just got out the colorful dresses.

Anyway, to celebrate the end of summer or just enjoy the long weekend, my two friends, Liz and Hallie, and I ventured down to Amelia Island, Florida where we indulged in wine, ice cream and much sun. We also participated in the Turtle Trot 5K–they ran the whole thing, I ran slightly more than half.

It was a delightful weekend–and Amelia Island is beautiful.
