This weekend, some friends and I trekked (it feels like everything is a trek in New York) to the Chelsea Market on 10th Avenue in Chelsea. There, I sampled cheeses, saw brightly colored peppers, colanders, and old restaurant signs. We also gazed upon cookies decorated better than my apartment. We braved the five avenues and ventured to the Kate Spade Pop Up Bus in the Flat Iron district. And walked the high-line. Despite the grey weather, the outdoor activities were lovely. I capped off the weekend with some McNuggets. In front of me in line at McDonalds, I saw a woman in a fur coat. She ordered a peppermint milkshake.
